2012 World Convention
posted 8/3/2012 10:39:14 AMLast week the World Convention convened in Goiania, Brazil. The convention meets every four years and welcomes members from the independent Christian churches, churches of Christ, and Disciples of Christ. Speakers for this year’s conference included ministers, professors and ministry leaders from Brazil, Korea, Ghana, and other countries. The conference shares, “In 80 years of bringing together the Stone-Campbell family, this [was] our first convention in South America and our first in a Portuguese-speaking nation!”
